Description

The Beatles – The Beatles Beat

Very rare German Book Club–only pressing from 1966, issued in true stereo on the Odeon / Impression label (catalog 6086). This unique Book Club edition was not sold commercially in stores, making it far scarcer than standard German Odeon issues and highly sought after by Beatles collectors.


The record itself grades EX (Excellent), retaining strong gloss with only light, superficial sleeve scuffs visible under light. Plays clean and quiet with excellent fidelity typical of German pressings from this era.


The cover grades EX and remains structurally solid with sharp color and clean presentation. The only noted flaws are a small photo pasted to the back cover and minor writing on the front cover; otherwise, this is a very nice example with minimal wear and strong eye appeal. No seam splits or major defects.


Features the classic magenta-and-black German front design with individual band member portraits and the distinctive “Stereo 6086” Book Club designation. Labels are the orange Impression / Odeon style with German copyright and society markings.


A genuinely uncommon 1960s German Beatles pressing in stereo, produced exclusively for club distribution and rarely encountered in this condition. An excellent opportunity to acquire a scarce international Beatles variant with superior European pressing quality.
