Capitol T-2553 MONO 1966
"BUTCHER COVER" 2ND STATE (UNPEELED PASTEOVER)
One of the Holy Grails for Beatles collectors. A truly beautiful copy of the legendary 1966 cover. Hard enough to find in any condition, this copy has sharp, clean corners, all seams are right and tight w/clear printing, no writing or rubbing(except for a tiny 1/8" rub at top of George's head). Tiny smudge on trunk edge under John's leg. Very, very faint manila moisture stain(barely visible at different angles). V-neck of Ringo's sweater is clearly visible, as well as top of head over John's leg- a definite 2nd state. Record is totally beat, an item included only for completeness of this famous collector's piece. A cover any cleaner than this will be difficult to find in day and age.
Cover is NEAR MINT- and Disc is BP(barely playable).
