Description

This is a rare find: the Dutch Fantasy white-labelled test pressing of the 1975 The Blackbyrds Flying Start album. This comes from the private collection of an EMI producer's son and is very rare. Only a handful of these test pressings were made and even fewer have survived. There's handwritten information on both catalogue number (9472), the artist and the word Studio on the sleeve. The name of the artist is on the back of the sleeve.The album sounds really nice with some minor ticks and it doesn't skip. The sleeve looks good but a bit old which could be expected after nearly 50 years! There are also some small holes. See pictures of record and sleeve.  I ship worldwide, and as I am a collector myself who hates it when my purchases are damaged when they are arrive, I only use new cardboard boxes and extra cardboard to protect the album from bending and the record is shipped in a new plastic sleeve.
