Description
James Edwards was my father in law. He died in 1992, leaving behind a record collection of hundreds of gospel, classical, swing, country, popular and big band albums, which he had collected and preserved for years. He carefully kept the records in their original record sleeves and album covers. Jim was a Christian DJ in the 60's and 70's at WBEX in Chillicothe Ohio winning awards from many gospel and Christian Music organizations. He was a past president of the Gospel Music Club, active in the Southern Baptist Church and personal friends of the Stamps, the Kingsmen and other great artists. His widow, Ruth, my mother in law has decided to part with her husband's wonderful collections and has given me the privilege of presenting them to interested collectors through the EBay network. I plan on doing so, but would hope only lovers of the music like my father in law, acquire these items and treat them as wonderfully as he did.
This is a quality album and the vinyl in mint condition.
I am trying to list those great gospel music albums that you want, and it is hard to keep up, but I will continue to put every effort into getting them ready for you. There is plenty for everyone, but I must advise you. If you watch bidding on an album, and forget to come back by the ending time, it may be months before I get back to it to relist. I have well over 100 albums to list and plan to get them all in before I start over. All these records have mint condition vinyl records, with covers that are slightly worn from storage. If a record is still sealed, I will state so in the description. However, you can count on the fact that my father in law's loving care of his collection will pay off when you own one of these great albums.
