Description

The Bobby Fuller Four  "I Fought The Law"

This is an original US vinyl pressing on Mustang MS-901  from 1966.    This is a stereo pressing of their second album.     It has their biggest hit single "I Fought The Law', which reached # 9 on  2/12/66.     What a classic hit !!     This album is very hard to find in great condition.

Overall Condition is : Cover is M- /  Record is VG+

The cover is Mint minus with no ring wear, no writing , and no seam splits.   The front cover is perfect !!     The back cover has some light age spots along the right and bottom edges.     The A-side vinyl looks near mint and it plays near mint.    The B-side vinyl looks VG+ and plays near mint.      There is one scuff across songs 2 & 3, which can be seen, but not heard.     It plays great!      Also on side two there is a very tiny bump in the vinyl ( from the factory) between songs 5 & 6, which makes 2 pops between the songs ( but none at all during the music).    The labels are clean with no spindle marks.  The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

The songs are : Let Her Dance, Julie, A New Shade Of Blue, Only When I Dream, You Kiss Me, Little Annie Lou, I Fought The Law, Another Sad And Lonely Night, Saturday Night, Take My Word, Fool Of Love, and Never To Be Forgotten.

About Me :

I started collecting records in 1966.     I started selling in Goldmine in 1985.      I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby.       And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon.     My records are from a no smoking and no pets home.

Packaging :

I take great care on every package and I do each one personally.     I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard.     Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard.       Together they are very strong and unbendable.   ( Even the postmen comment on how strong this cardboard is ! )       I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a clear plastic sleeve.     The package will be marked in red : "Fragile Record" on both sides.

Postage :  Weight : 1 pound 9 ounces

You have to pay for the postage.     I pre-weigh every record, so that you pay the exact amount the post office charges.   There are no handling charges.     This record will weigh 25 ounces ( 1 pound, 9 ounces ) when ready to ship.   US bidders can figure out your own postage costs for US Priority or Media Mail.    All US winners will get shipping through Paypal and an automatic email with the tracking number.      Overseas bidders must use First Class Mail International.    You will get an automatic email with the customs/tracking number.      ( Buyers from Italy must assume all risks for shipping to their country. )      I will send your record as soon as you pay ( same day if before 2 PM and next day if after 2 PM : Monday thru Saturday)   I will combine shipping if you win more than one record.      Please wait for me to send you an invoice for all of your records in one package.

Serious Bidders Only :

Serious bidders only.    If you bid you must be prepared to honor your bid.     I expect payment within three days, but will wait up to seven days, if you contact me.      I no longer accept bids from buyers with more than two strikes against them.
