Description
This is The Boston Tea Party self titled LP!
Flick Disc Records # FLS 45,000. Released in 1968.
Condition:
Vinyl: M-! Plays beautifully! No marks! Labels are clean!
Cover: VG+ with very minimal corner wear and light surface wear on the back. There is a hole punch on the bottom/left corner. NO splits or bends. I do not think the inner sleeve is the original but it is clean and in great condition.
In spite of the name, The BOSTON TEA PARTY were from Burbank, California. Originally formed in 1963, they started out as a surf outfit, but by the mid-'60s had decided to follow popular trends, reinventing themselves as a garage psych band. The band survived long enough to undertake a cameo performance in the American International biker flick The Cycle Savages (a couple of their songs were included in the soundtrack), and they were history.
