Boston Tea Party formed in 1963 with members Travis Fields (vocals), Mike Stevens (guitar), Dave Novogroski (drums), and brothers Richard (bass) and Robert (organ) De Perna.

Boston Tea Party released five singles in 1967, none of which gathered much attention.The sole album the band released came out in 1968, with mixed reviews in terms of it’s quality. Novogorski went on to play for The Edge, and Mike Stevens later fronted the heavy rock band Highway Robbery.
