Description

Wow!!!!! where do I begin with this record...........Well this a mega rare release 2 track 1997 release from "The Brian Jonestown Massacre" titled " Not If You Were The Last Dandy on Earth". It is limited to  300 copies and was released on Committee to keep music Evil - Evil 1.
This Dandy Warhols-themed release was at the period of time when there was tension between the two groups due to the Dandys' success. The song "Not If You Were The Last Dandy On Earth!" is a direct response to the Dandys' 1997 hit single "Not If You Were The Last Junkie On Earth.
Side A is a short song played at 45rpm while Side B is 30 minutes of Anton spinning a variety of records and talking about when he met The Dandy Warhols at a show early in the group's career and their subsequent music industry success. Side B is played at 33rpm and grooves on side B towards the end are tight and cause needle slippage, this is a common noted issue on this release. Besides that the vinyl is great, the cover does have a slight ding on the bottom left corner, and there is a light crease across the front of the top cover.
Bonus  there are 3 Brian Jonestown Massacre beer coasters that come with this copy don't know how they got there, in fact I can't remember how I got this LP myself. This is areal rare piece of 90s rock and should not be missed as it wont come around again.

I will leave you with the quote on the back cover........"I Want those F#*king bastards dead, they're jeopardising the dandy's career!"

I'm Listing around 80 LPs over the course of the weekend with some unique and great records to come, so check them out as there will be some rare hard to find releases on offer at an unbelievable starting price, plus its a great chance to save on shipping with multiple buys. A lot of these records have been in my collection for over a decade and as much as I love them, its time to sell a few of them.

International buyers are welcome,  please email for shipping quotes to your location (Beware that Australia post are expensive) but all quotes will be accurate using the Aussie post postage calculator.

Cheers
