Description
This was The Paul Butterfield Blues Band's second album with their thirteen minute opus East-West - arguably the best instrumental blues track ever recorded. With a hypnotic rhythm created by Jerome Arnold on bass and Billy davenport on drums, plus Paul Butterfield's harmonica together with Mike Bloomfield's and Elvin Bishop's alternating guitar leads, the band creates soaring music which undoubtedly influenced Peter Green and Fleetwood Mac's Albatross. One of the great blues albums.
The LP and record sleeve are in excellent to near mint condition, with no scratches or signs of having been played.
Postage to anywhere in Australia will be $12.00 OR pick up from Glen Iris, Melbourne.
International Sea Mail postage to Europe or the USA will be between $25.00 and $30.00.
Happy to combine postage on multiple purchases. The total cost will depend on the final weight and destination.
Dear Customers,
Thank you for the interest that you have shown in the albums I have listed on Ebay over the last six months. It has been a pleasure to find some really nice and pleasant people out there in the big world of Ebay who love and appreciate a similar taste in music.
I will soon stop listing and start preparing our small caravan for the trip up to the Gulf of Carpentaria. We will return in October/November, at which time I will list more blues, rock and country records from my collection and look forward to renewing our acquaintances.
Wishing you all the best,
Peter
