Description

The Byrds / Eight Miles High  / The 1965 RCA Studios Recording  / 2011 45 / Mint Sealed

Songs: Eight Miles High & Why (The original 1965 RCA first recordings)

These are late 1965 recordings in made at the Los Angeles RCA recording studios. Columbia Records did not use them, as they needed to be recorded at a Columbia owned studio. They were re-recorded at a Columbia Studio and issued as a 45 in 1966. However, Roger McGuinn and David Crosby always felt that the RCA recordings were vastly superior. Columbia/Sundazed issued them in 2011 for Record Store Day. 45 and Picture Sleeve are Mint Unplayed (see all photos).

Great Byrds collectible.
