Description
Up for grabs is an original 1968 pressing of the highly sought after The Byrds Notorious Byrd Brothers Mono Pressing. This record came to me in a large collection of lightly played / never played records, bought from the original owner, making me the second owner and you the third of these gems.
The vinyl on this one is pristine - the surface shines as if it just came off the press. I have graded it visually as a NM. I do not believe this record was ever played and the second you hold it to the light, you will know this to be true. There are no hairlines whatsoever and I think I might have been the first person the ever slide the vinyl out of the sleeve. Matrix numbers are as follows:
Side 1: XLP 119701 1C Side 2: XLP 119702 1C
The jacket is in VG condition, showing the patina of old age. This one is a promo, so on the front is the pasted on Columbia promo label and on the back there is a gold sticker covering up what I assume is the "Not For Sale" stamp. The upper right hand corner (pictured) is slightly bent, but other than that, the jacket is solid for its age.
I have done my best to provide photos that will be illustrative to you as you make your decision to bid, but if you need others, please feel free to ask.
Free Shipping! The record will be shipped in the standard white record mailer with additional support added in to hopefully protect the edges via Media Mail. I also ship the vinyl outside the jacket unless you would rather me not. US bidders only unless you have emailed me before hand and we have discussed actual shipping costs.
Good luck, and thanks for bidding!
