Description
The California Playboys: Trying To Become A Millionaire LP (Loadstone Acetate #3 Reference Disc)
Condition: Jacket/Record
Jacket: M/M (Comes in a generic White Jacket; With a die-cut hole, where the label can be seen)
Record: VG-/VG- (Both sides have lots of wear and it does play with pop's here and there, but considering the overall condition of this reference acetate: it plays all the way through, but on the first song I've experienced it three times that it did skip on the first track, but once I had adjusted the needle and the counter weight just ever so slightly, it played great.
Also, the last one that sold they all were different eq'd versions of the lp that was released commercially; for the band to listen to and which version they would decide on pressing out. This test was concluded next to the commercial release and this cut tends to be a little bit more bass heavy and loader than the actual lp.
As a disclaimer: Acetate records tend to degrade after each and every play ( and drastically too). I strongly suggest that if you're buying this, let it be know the you take all the precautions needed to listen to this fragile reference of an LP. To find an actual commercial release of this lp, is beyond hard, and to have a reference disc, it goes without saying: it's almost hard to put a price on it.
I'm starting the bid at $0.50, and no reservations! Good luck!
