Description
Original OG US Press -- The Challengers 1963 LP "Surfbeat" on the Vault record label (Vault 100). In Mono.
THIS IS THE TRUE FIRST PRESS (1st day pressing) with the vocal mix of "Surfin' Sarfari" (track B3) that was replaced with an instrumental mix in later presses. Very rare!!
Great surf / garage rock from the early 1960s!
Vinyl -- VG/VG- (Still has some gloss and plays well with very minimal surface noise, but there are some scuffs and surface scratches, nothing deep) Cover -- VG- (See photos, seam split to top and bottom seam, split on bottom seam is larger than top, cover has some general wear and slight staining on back of jacket, spine has minor chipping but is strong) Labels -- See photos. Small stain on B side label.
Will be shipped quickly and securely via USPS Media Mail in a professional cardboard record mailer and outer poly sleeve. LP will be shipped outside of jacket to prevent damage.
