Description
THE CHAMPS - “GO, CHAMPS, GO!” (CHL-601), RARE FIRST PRESSING FROM 1958 RECORD: VG with much original gloss, although there are many light surface scratches & scuffs on both sides. I played this original 1958 album in its entirety and found the sound quality surprisingly crisp and clear. Sure, there are some sporadic "ticks" in areas but nothing that overrides the music or anything that would be considered as "annoying" to the ear. "Tequila" sounded fantastic! This record does not have any skips or repeats. The blue Challenge labels are clean, but the Side 1 label does have a name written in black ink. There are more spindle marks on that label than the Side 2 label. This album is very seldom seen and has a NM value of $250!
COVER: VG with absolutely no seam splits, tape or staple holes. The name that is written in black ink is also written on the upper left corner of the front of the cover. There are also several pencil marks on the front and back, but with pencil, it is not easily seen. There is some edge & spine wear, especially the lower edge from sitting on a shelf. INNER SLEEVE: Plain white.
