Description
Here is a very rare and unusual item. It is an album by The Checkmates presumably from the early 1960's based on the album cover style and design. This group is not the same as the Texas based "The Checkmates". The members of this group are/were Mint Terhune- Leader, Bob Hale- Tenor, Don Intveld- Baritone, and, Don Woods- Bass. This album also lists a contacrt person as Bob Woods with an address in Saddlebrook New Jersey. I have found no other copies of this album that have either been recently sold or are currently listed elsewhere on Ebay. Also Discogs had no listing ( which is unusual as they have a tremendous archive and multitudes of information). Don't miss out on this album which is in great condition for its age. There is some discoloration and slight shelf/ ring wear. The vinyl looks very nice just in need of a decent cleaning. Feel free to contact me with questions or information about this album. Thank you for visiting my store.
