VERY RARE Flair Records, 1051, Mono 78 RPM
Be on the lookout this week for rare LP's from Sweet Melissa Records! The popular mid-fifties single, from Brooklyn-based doo-wop group The Chimes, recorded for 78 rpm.Dead wax: catalog numbers on both sides. Red label. Vinyl is in very good condition; there are a few light scuffs on this record. Even in its exemplary condition, and while this record is certainly playable, with all the full dynamic and harmonic registers of the recording still preserved, do expect to hear some light surface noise on playback. All the same, this original 1950s pressing (in this 78 rpm format, too!) is an extremely rare piece to come by, so please bid with confidence and take advantage of this incredible addition to the Sweet Melissa Records collection!
