Description

The Chirping Crickets BL 54038 with Buddy Holly 1957 Mono Textured Cover Used. My first LP. And you can imagine what it was played on. The cover has a 4.5" seam split top right. No tape or stickers. The spine is OK. All printing is legible. The front has storage wear around the edges. The back of cover has considerable light staining. A small rubber stamped "D" is on the lower right corner. (Demo ?) I bought it from a record store that had listening booths. Upper left hand corner has price in faint pencil. No original sleeve. Play tested on an Audio-Technica with a mono cartridge while wearing my hearing aids. The record has oodles of fine scratches and spindle marks. Side one / track two has a click. Side one / track five has a slight skip at the beginning of the song otherwise both sides play AOK. Surface noise is minimal. Matrix numbers are side one: MG6036T4, side two: MG6037T3.
