DESCRIPTION: The Clash- London Calling double LP. 1st UK pressing with A1/B1/A2/B2 matrix complete with printed inners and stickered sleeve in top condition. LABEL/CATALOGUE NUMBER: Clash 3: YEAR OF RELEASE: 1979. COUNTRY OF RELEASE: UK: CONDITION (VINYL/COVER): VG/VG/EX. Vinyl is really clean with a great sheen. It has some brushing lines and a few light hairlines that prevent better visual grade. Played passages of both discs of this this morning on my budget deck. Sits flat on the turntable. Sounds Excellent. Music is clear, clean and loud. Cover is in great shape. If anything its probably a bit better than EX. One of the best covers I have seen for this. The single panel sleeve was not really designed to hold 2 discs so most are battered. This one is a definite exception. It is really firm and square and has only minimal edge wear , light corner wear and less than light creasing. Great shape to fully legible spine. Correct printed inners are really clean with a split to the bottom edge only. Clean labels- check out the photos. No writing, rips, stickers or sticker tears. PLEASE CHECK OUT MY OTHER PUNK/METAL/CLASSIC/HARD ROCK LISTINGS IN MY EBAY SHOP. Grading system: I use UK’s “Record Collector” Grading system. I DO PLAY EVERY RECORD I LIST NOW even though its often just quite briefly. Please bear in mind you may get a touch of background sound, even if its just on intros and between the tracks on 30-40 year old vinyl records!! :: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface mark or deterioration in the sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in the sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing. VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover, or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable. GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound has noticably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding,scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration etc. I will at times use a + or - to indicate when a record falls between the grades. I REMOVE ALL VINYL FROM SLEEVES PRIOR TO POSTING. RECORDS ARE SENT IN BEST QUALITY MAILERS WITH 2 STIFFENERS. I ALWAYS COMBINE POSTAGE BUT COST DEPENDS ENTIRELY ON WEIGHT OF PACKAGE. EACH EXTRA SINGLE DISC LP IS ROUGHLY £1.75 TO EUROPE, £2.75 TO THE AMERICAS AND £3.25 TO THE REST OF THE WORLD.
