Description
The Clash London Calling 2x LP.
This is a UK 1st press on the CBS label from 1979 with Hype Stickered sleeve, White Labels, no track listing for Train in Vain on cover or labels, but added to the dead wax on side 4 & printed lyric Inner sleeves.
Condition of the record is VERY GOOD+. Both records have only a few light non audio sleeve removal marks & the odd light stylus scratch seen under a bright light. No heavy marks or scratches. The record labels are fairly clean with a few spindle marks on each side, but no writing or stickers.
The record has been cleaned on a Moth mk11 pro record cleaner & played throughout on a Project turn table.
The audio quality is EXCELLENT-. Loud & clear audio from the start, the marks noted above do very little to nothing, just the slightest bit of background surface noise heard in quieter parts.
The sleeve condition is VERY GOOD. Fairly clean & presentable with minor wear & light handling creases. Has age related discoloration & the front & back cover displays the start of ring wear. The spine is square with just a touch of wear to the lettering, but still readable. The opening edge is slightly worn & feathered. The inner sleeves are fairly clean with age spots, but no splits or tears. They both have the correct catalogue number on them with 1/2 & 3/4, but I've just noticed that the thumb notches are different? Please see pictures (more available upon request).
Graded very conservatively to the Rare Record Price guide, it's still an enjoyable listen & in no way trashed!
