An original UK first pressing of London Calling featuring the highly desirable A1 / B1 / C2 / D3 matrix combination, sought-after TIMTOM / TY-CBS mastering inscriptions and the famous uncredited "Train In Vain" closing track.
This example retains a strong combination of early UK pressing characteristics including original CBS Aston Clinton manufacture, early UK labels, original plain CBS paper inner sleeves and one original lyric inner sleeve.
The album has been fully play-tested and an overview playback video is included within the listing for reference.

Original CBS labels remain bright, clean and well preserved with only light spindle evidence consistent with careful ownership. The labels feature the desirable early publishing credit layout associated with early UK pressings.
The original sleeve remains an attractive example, retaining strong colours throughout with only honest age-related wear, light edge wear and handling marks consistent with its age. The spine remains fully legible and the sleeve remains structurally sound throughout.
Included with the album is one original lyric inner sleeve together with the original plain CBS paper inner sleeves. The second lyric inner sleeve is not present and this has been reflected in the grading.
VINYL: VG+
Both records retain strong original gloss and present very well. Under bright light only light surface marks and hairlines consistent with careful use are visible. No feelable scratches or significant defects are present.
The album has been fully play-tested and delivers strong, enjoyable playback throughout, retaining the energy, impact and dynamics for which the original TIMTOM / TY-CBS mastering is highly regarded.
