London Calling is the third album by English punk rock band The Clash, released 14 December 1979, on CBS Records in the UK and in January 1980 on Epic Records in the United States. The album represented a change in The Clash's musical style, and featured elements of ska, pop, soul, rockabilly and reggae music.[1] The album's subject matter included unemployment, racial conflict, drug use, and the responsibilities of adulthood.[2]

The album received highly positive reviews and was ranked at number eight on Rolling Stone' list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2003.[3] London Calling was a top ten album in the UK, and its lead single "London Calling" was a top twenty single.[4] It has sold over two million copies worldwide,[3] and was certified platinum in the United States.[5]

For larger shipments, particularly those which include box sets or doubles, please await invoice before making payment.

Please note that, whilst it it comparatively rare for items to be lost or damaged in the post, my part of the transaction contract is legally completed as soon as the item is in the hands of the Post Office. I will not, therefore, accept responsibility for any loss or damage by the Postal Services. Whilst I am happy to provide help and advice, all such claims remain the responsibility of and must be made by the buyer. Due to the volume of items handled I am unable to provide on-line trackable proof of posting unless insurance options is requested by and paid for at the time of remittance by the buyer Whilst I endeavour to dispatch items as soon as possible after payment has been received and/or cleared, please allow up to 14 days for delivery (21 days if overseas).
