Description

 This is a framed and mounted, 7 inch platinum disc, commemorating UK sales for the single, 'Should I Stay or Should I Go' by 'The Clash'. I won it in a charity auction, around 1992, staged by the London-based record company (Chrysalis)  I was working for at the time. (The single was released a few years earlier,  but, didn't reach its UK number one chart position until its re-release in 1991). The frame contains:

- The re-released picture sleeve featuring Mick Jones (who handled vocals on the single)
- A platinum-plated 7 inch single, featuring the original Columbia label
- A small British Flag
- An engraved metal plaque which reads -

It has a brushed aluminum frame and measures approx 17 x 12 inches. It is in good condition, but has a small scuff on the finish of the platinum plating and the frame has some scratches on it. Finally, apologies for the poor quality of the shots - it was VERY hard to get clear images with the reflections and the disc itself - I'll select the 'enlarge' version and hopefully you can get a better idea of the quality of the item
