Description

Up for sale is THE CLASH - THE CLASH vinyl record, a reissue released by Epic in the 1980s. 
The sleeve is in average condition with edge and corner wear. The vinyl has been TESTED and plays excellently, with no crackling, skips, or warping. I am not a vinyl record grader by any means. I had this record for 40 odd years and it was stored upright.

The Clash is the debut studio album by The Clash. However, this version was actually The Clash's second album in the US, which omitted certain tracks from the original release for different ones. It is a quintessential punk rock album - across the album's 15 songs, themes of bureaucracy, police, big business, politics, and economics are brought up throughout. It was an instant commercial and critical hit and captured the tensions and raw anger of the late '70s in both the UK and US. The album also incorporated the sounds of 50s rock and roll and reggae into the mix.
