Description

Very rare -possibly unique pressing of The Clash's 'White Riot/1977' 7" Vinyl single. There has been a mis-press in that the labels are printed onto the wrong face, so 'White Riot' plays on the side labelled '1977' and Vice Versa. Genuine CBS copy. Made in England. 1977, S CBS 5058 I can find no reference to any similar disc in existence. The single is overall in very good condition. There are crackles on the intro and outro to 'White Riot', otherwise the track plays well with no jumping or obvious scratches. '1977' is the cleaner side with little crackling to intro/outro. Comes in standard CBS sleeve. This paricular disc was discussed on BBC 6 Music's Steve Lamacq show on 19/4/17, ahead of Record Store Day) by 'Rare Record Guide's' Ian Shirley.  A must for Punk fans. Starting at a price less than a good night out in town!
