Description

Recorded at CBS Recording Studios in London in Feb 1977. Mono copy. Seven songs: The box reads, 1) Remote control 2) Protex Blue 3) Janie Jones 5) Career Opportunities 6) Whats my name 7, Hate & War 8) 48 hours. As I have not played this tape it is not possible to know exactly what the mix is but I would imagine it is pretty raw Clash and is probably not what ended up on the album. It was produced by Mickey Foote (Joe Strummers old sound man from the 101' ners) and this copy was given to his close friend in the late 70's who is a dear friend of mine. I am selling on his behalf. Any Clash items sold on this site have not seen daylight or have not been played since leaving the studio in 1977. The box is just slightly grubby but very solid.
