Description
An absolutely superb set of 188 of the great Dinah Washington's recordings from 1943 through till 1955.The set contains Vols. 1 - 13 and was released on the Danish OFFICIAL Label in 1989.
Albums are in pristine condition for both records and album sleeves, bar one or two that have slight scuff marks on the top side.
Am tempted to grade both as M- Cond. as some sellers no doubt would, but will grade as Ex. + Cond. so you may view them as better than this if you are winning bidder.
These 13 Vols. of Dinah Washington recordings are a credit to OFFICIAL, who have brought out some great compilations in the past, and this super set of 13 Vols. are no exception.
Albums contain some magnificent tracks, though to be honest I haven't played any yet, but have just visually graded. As you know already she was the "Queen" of jazz vocal and made many great recordings from the early 40's up until she died in 1963.
The winning bidder will be privileged to own such a fine set of Dinahs recordings which is not seen for sale often if ever.
Good Luck if you are bidding for this collection, and although I have listed some of the tracks on several pictures, please do not hesitate to contact me if you require details of all tracks and I will mail them to you.
Will mail by Royal Mail Standard Parcel rates and weight of these 13 Vols with packing will be around 3+ kilograms. For overseas buyers I will quote rates on request as am currently obtaining info. from the Post Office.
