1979 Jamaican release on Congo Ashanty

Label credits says "Produced by Congos" and then underneath adds "C.M.R.J.W.B."
The record is in VG+ condition and comes in a generic white die-cut paper sleeve.
Many Jamaican (JA) 7” pressings from the 70’s and 80’s lack the quality of standard UK or US pressings. This was due, so the story goes, to the high price of raw vinyl at the time and resulted in most records being made with cheaper recycled vinyl from America. The result was that many 7”JA singles have visible pits on the surface, are often crackly or even pressed slightly off-centre! All my singles are in a good condition.
These records were the best copy I could get at the time - but they will have the odd click and crackle on them. Any really bad defects will be pointed out.
I’m gradually selling off my collection of records, posters, comics and magazines. I worked in a record shop and always made sure I bought the best-looking copy I could get. I’ll be listing items on a regular basis for the next few months.

All records are shipped in 625 micron (or better) cardboard mailers, with the vinyl separated from the picture sleeve to avoid seam splits during shipping.
