Description

Selected titles from the private collection of a music business veteran are now being made available for the first time. Titles offered by this Seller are one-owner and came directly from the pressing plant, record company warehouse, other label reps or record store unless otherwise noted. 

Grading is based on visual inspection.

Album ships in a 2 MIL poly cover sleeve and a 3 MIL poly inner sleeve.

I package records outside the cover to avoid seam splits.

From the Seller’s extensive collection of Christmas albums, singles and compact discs.

  • This is the first album ever released on the Gordy label in 1962. The address on the label is 2648 Grand Ave. not 2628 as listed herein below the tracklist.
  • This Mint Condition copy has never been played and it is a First Pressing on very thick and heavy vinyl.
  • The Bell Sound stamp is on the dead wax. The matrix run outs end in 1A &1B.
  • The record has the original purple Gordy label with silver type.
  • This is a Mono recording.
  • The paper on board cover has tight seams and shows storage wear on the top front and back. There are 3 minor corner bumps. The upper left spine corner has been scuffed.
  • The original plain white die-cut inner sleeve has yellowed with age and has one seam that was taped many years ago. I have included a soft poly inner sleeve.
  • Seller got this 53 year old album new in his record store in 1969. It has been in storage for 46 years.
