This original vinyl record is one of the top remix albums that Club DJ's are trying to get their hands on.  Bid with confidence.  See my excellent eBay rating.  Don't buy from those other Buyers with generic stock photos from the internet; I never trust them.  This vinyl record will definitely start your party right and get your guests off their ass and begin to boogey down!  Shipping will be sent using USPS Media mail and may take approximately 7 days.   This record comes from a pet-free and smoke-free home.  See my 100% positive Feedback with great comments.  I have been selling vinyl records now for over 24 years.

Artist:   THE CURE

Title:   “Boys Don’t Cry”

Label:   ELEKTRA ~ 9 60786-1.  Original stereo pressing.

Year:  1979.

NOTE:  This album came from the extensive personal collection of the former owner of a chain of retail music stores who retired from the business in the 1980’s.  The albums have been stored virtually untouched and unplayed since that time in a climate controlled, non-smoking environment.  We are in the process of selling many investment grade coloured vinyl LPs, promos, sealed LPs, and other rare collector items from the collection over the coming months.  If you insist on MINT albums, you will not be disappointed.

Condition:

Album is STILL SEALED in factory shrink-wrap, as clean as can be found.  The shrink-wrap is sparkling clean. Overall a gorgeous piece that has never seen a stylus!  Here’s one for the archives, or be the first to place a stylus on it – the choice is yours!

Review:

“Falling somewhere between official release and compilation, Boys Don't Cry was released in February 1980 in hopes of increasing the band's exposure outside of the U.K.  It captures the first phase of the band well, showcasing the angular new wave that had garnered them acclaim in England.  The major difference separating this from the debut full-length (and thus qualifying it as an "official" release) is that unlike Three Imaginary Boys, the first three singles ("Killing an Arab," "Boys Don't Cry," and "Jumping Someone Else's Train") are included.  A good starting point for getting up to speed on this era of the band, it works best when paired up with Three Imaginary Boys; then you'll get the complete picture.”
