Description

     

One of the rarest early Cure releases is this Spanish promo 7” from 1980. Made in very limited quantities, this pressing was not available commercially (a regular Spanish release with the standard picture sleeve was later made).

What makes this pressing particularly sought after is the unique sleeve design featuring a b&w picture of the band’s ‘Three Imaginary Boys’ LP. No other pressing came with this design. On the back is a long description of the band’s career up to that point. The white promo labels feature the ‘On the Wave’ logo - a series of 7” promos of up-and-coming bands in which the Cure featured. A very rare item!

Condition:

This item is in great condition! These sleeves were rather flimsy and prone to wear, but this copy is solid Excellent, with only a slight trace of ringwear visible. The vinyl is solid Excellent to Excellent Plus!
