"Disintegration" erreichte Platz 3 in Großbritannien und Platz 12 in den USA. Aus dem Album gingen vier Hit-Singles hervor: "Lullaby" "Lovesong" (in einigen Versionen als "Love Song" aufgeführt) "Fascination Street" (nur in Nordamerika als Single veröffentlicht) "Pictures of You"
Aufgrund der längeren Laufzeit des Albums sind "Last Dance" und "Homesick" nicht auf dieser ursprünglichen Vinyl-Ausgabe des Albums enthalten.
