Double LP - black color - The Cure's performance at the Aula V.U.B. in Brussels, Belgium, on October 6th, 1980, during the acclaimed Seventeen Seconds era.
Featuring the trio line-up of Robert Smith, Simon Gallup and Lol Tolhurst, this recording captures The Cure at a crucial stage in their evolution, as they moved away from the raw energy of Three Imaginary Boys towards the darker and more atmospheric sound that would define their future classics.
The set includes early favourites such as A Forest, Play For Today, Primary, M, In Your House, Fire In Cairo, All Cats Are Grey, Killing An Arab, Three Imaginary Boys and 10:15 Saturday Night, performed with the intensity and urgency that made the band's early concerts so memorable.
What makes this release particularly enjoyable is the excellent sound quality, far superior to many recordings from the same period, allowing the subtle textures and hypnotic atmosphere of the Seventeen Seconds material to shine through.
