The album features works by Alan Dunn, Jinx Lennon, Sophie Coyle, Point5 (Thorpe/Woodward), CLINIC, Daniel Simpkins/Penny Whitehead, Damon Fairclough, Jeff Young, Paul Simpson, Easterjack, SINGERSONGWRITER, Ex Easter Island Head (Duvall/Morrison), Liam O'Callaghan, Paul Sullivan and Tenzing Scott Brown.
There are only 250 copies of this album in existence. Each album has a unique artwork designed by the residency artists. This cover is designed by Paul Sullivan.
In late 2011, Static Gallery were invited by Bill Drummond to curate The Curfew Tower residency and art project, Cushendall, Antrim for 2012.

Normally the residency asks visual artists to make work that is then presented to the people of Cushendall the following August for them to select their favourite artwork.
Static decided to alter this convention by incarcerating the previous 13 years worth of artworks in the ground floor prison cell and to leave each new resident with an empty space, a Tascam 4 track cassette machine for company and an instruction to make a field recording.
The Curfew Tower album is the result of those recordings.
PRODUCT1/The Curfew Tower was mixed by Ade and Hartley from CLINIC, Paul Sullivan and Sam Wiehl. This is the first release on the Liverpool based record label.
