Description
This is a copy of The Damned, Love Song /Suicide, Noise Noise Noise on the Chiswick label
(Red vinyl). It is autographed by all four of the band.
On the front cover it is signed by Captain Sensible with a written message "SOD THE BASHEES" (I think he was probably trying to spell 'Banshees' lol). On the back cover, the other 3 members have signed in proximity to their picture. (Please see the 4 photos attached). This is a genuine item.
The condition of the vinyl is very good/excellent and has been played no more than 5 times, if at all (had 4 and can't remember which one got played). The cover is good/v.good but has wear to edges. It has been in a record box for 30 years and moved around frequently but it has kept well.
I went to see The Damned in 1979 but can't quite remember now (30 years on) whether it was at 'Malvern Winter Gardens' Worcestershire or at 'Digbeth civic hall' in Birmingham. The support band if I remember rightly was The Ruts. I got all 4 records signed with the various 4 front covers and sold two of them many many years ago. Unfortunately, as a 15 year old, I did not have the insight to get proof of the signing with a photo, but all I can do is assure you it is genuine and I know it's genuine as I was there! Also I can't/won't give it away, thus the start price (no reserve).Please don't bid on this item if you are suspect about it, thanks.
