Description
So here`s a real rarity,the original single and poster both together in one lot.
I know the history of these,they came to me through a friend of a friend who was at the Marquee gig in 1977,and that is where they came from.
Original copy of Stretcher Case Baby b/w Sick of Being Sick.Stiff Records Gig Freebie From 1977.
The vinyl is as near mint as you`ll find no marks even under strong light,has been cherished and hardly ever played.Centre labels are the same,no real signs of use at all.
The sleeve has slight signs of ringwear in the light,and the very lightest of edge wear.It is very thin paper with no lamination,so again i suspect this is as good as you will ever see.I would grade it as excellent,but doubt you will ever find better.
The poster is not perfect,it has been on a wall,so has blu tac marks on the rear.It also has 3 or 4 areas where it has been repaired with sellotape.The repairs are very well done,and the tape has that aged brown look that compliments a 30 year old poster.To my eye it somehow adds to it`s authenticity as a gig freebie but be aware that it isn`t perfect.It would look stunning in a frame as a genuine 1st wave punk relic and is incredibly rare in any condition.
My gradings are based on 25 years of record collecting.I will gladly refund your money if you are not satisfied.
