“The Dark Side Of the Moon,” By The Flaming Lips, Star Death and White Dwarfs, feat. Henry Rollins and Peaches was first produced as an April Fools Day prank initiated by “Funny or Die.” Interestingly, the LP syncs perfectly with Pink Floyd’s 1973 iconic hit, “The Dark Side of the Moon.” The LP is an essential part of any audiophiles collection. On Dec. 22, 2009 the album was exclusively released on the iTunes Store. Then, on April 17, 2010, Warner Bros. released 5,000 copies of the 12’ LP as part of Record Store Day. The LP is now a rarity.

The LP is barely used as I prefer the original. It’s stored in a protective plastic sleeve and the LP is housed in an protective anti-static, plastic and rice paper inside sleeves. The edition is very well protected.
