Description
I purchased this box set new and it is still unopened in the original shrink-wrap. This six-LP set includes Ansermet conducting the Orchestre de la Suisse Romande in Falla's "The Three Cornered Hat" plus Ashkenazy conducting the London Symphony in Rachmaninov's "3rd Piano Concerto" plus Maazel conducting the Cleveland Orchestra in Respighi's "The Pines of Rome and Feste Romane" plus Solti conducting the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra in Wagner's "The Golden Ring-Excerpts from Der Ring des Nibelungen" plus Chailly conducting the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra in Messiaen's "Turangalila-symphonie" and lastly Paavo Jarvi conducting the London Symphony Orchestra with Janine Jansen, violinist playing Violin Concertos composed by Beethoven and Britten. This box set has, of course, eight corners: NONE ARE DENTED. I have most of the LPs on individual Decca LPs or CDs and therefore this box set is on offer. From my private library.
