Back in November of 1978, a fledgling band called “Def Leppard” decided to take a chance and record three original songs for an EP to push to radio stations in the hopes of getting airplay. Borrowing money from family and friends, the young teenage band printed up 1,000 copies of “The Def Leppard EP” and soon found their career start to take off.
This is THE ORIGINAL RED LABEL EP!!
This is one of those first 1,000 copies made and distributed to radio stations, friends, crowds, etc during the earliest days of Def Leppard. Upon signing with a record label, second and third printings were made. Those are easy to find. THIS is the most sought after Def Leppard collectible you can hope to find. The original EP that launched their career
I’m a Def Leppard fan and have had this proudly in my collection for a while now but now must offer it to consolidate finances and hopefully pass it on to someone who will appreciate the value of this item
