Artist: The Doors Album Title: The Doors Label/ Year of release: Elektra/ 1967 Serial Number: EKL 4007 (Mono) Condition: VG/G Further Notes: An original copy of this brilliant album! The LP plays fine with a few light crackles in the quiet places. Nothing that detracts from listeniong pleasure however as the sound quality is still nice and strong. Visually the LP does have many hairline marks but the LP still plays through strongly and sound great. They do not make them like they used to! The cover is intact with no rips or major damage and remains presentable despite having creases etc from usage. The spine does have a few creases and scuffs - the "The" and one of the "o's" of the "The Doors" has gone missing as a result. Would need a nice stiff plastic sleeve to support it! Terrific album - has to be owned on the original pressing! Condition Grading Descriptions: LP grading is given first followed by LP cover grading. LP and cover condition are indicated seperately and are graded as follows: MINT "M" = LP and cover is in "as new" condition. EXCELLENT "EX" =The record shows some signs of having been played, but with very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing. VERY GOOD "VG" = The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. There will be normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items without any major defects. GOOD "G" = The record will be playable but lessening in sound quality will be noticeable and there may even be the occassional skip. Cover may be worn, split or torn. FAIR "F" = Record will be barely playable with destorted sound quality in places/ throughout. Cover will be badly worn and torn with parts missing. Postage/ Shipping: General: LP's and 45's are mailed in cardboard record mailers with added cardboard stiffeners. I shall always mail an item within 2-3 days of cleared payment. If possible I will mail earlier but please be realistic as I work full time! Once posted delivery times will vary and are in the hands on the mail services (as you all know). UK POSTAGE IS NOT FREE WITHIN UK - PLEASE IGNORE "FREE P&P" EBAY NONSENSE! I will only send recorded, first class delivery as i don't want anything lost which will only dissappoint both parties! Costs are £3.50 for 1xLP and £4.50 for 2xLP (double LP). Europe Airmail costs are £4.50 for 1 xLP and £5.50 for 2xLP (double LP).
