The title song of this, the final doors album with Jim Morrison, who died shortly after the release, has"perhaps the best Chuck Berry riffs since the stones", as one critic noted. And that's without "love her madly" to mention at all that was for the doors of one of the biggest hits in the charts.
"Love her madly" was written by doors guitarist Robbie Krieger, which is due to the countless times that threatened his girlfriend to leave him, he had written the song. The song rose to the No. 11 on the Billboard Hot 100 singles and was no. 3 in Canada.
"L.A. woman" was still at the top of the charts, as, just like in the poem "actor out on loan" in the last song of the LP - died in the acclaimed reference "riders on the storm" - Jim Morrison in the summer of 1971 in a bathtub in Paris.
By titles such as "The Changeling", "crawling King snake" as well as this collection tended the airy, cheerful theme song to the Blues - especially by Morrison's bragging trademark "Lizard King". «A total Rolling Stone declared "L.A. woman" to the» best album of the doors, the first with included "and as" standards setting and value, danced in the streets to be «.»
Analogue productions and quality record pressings all six studio LPs - "The Doors", "Strange Days", "Waiting For The Sun", hereby announce proudly "Soft Parade", "Morrison Hotel" and "L.A. woman"-on 200 g / 45 rpm. All paint films were cut from the original analogue master tapes by Doug Sax, except "The doors", this title was mastered from the best existing copy of the tape.
An authentic reissue project, in which the original recordings were made with CRT equipment, the tape device to play the master tapes is really a tube device and cutting edge system alike: all tubes!
