Description

The Doors - L.A. Woman

(Elektra K42090 UK LP 1971)

This is an early UK LP pressing. It has a matt sleeve which has rounded corners. It has embossed lettering on the front. It also has a PVC window, with a photo of the band, on the front. It has a yellow paper inner sleeve. This has the telephone pole/ crucifix picture on it.

The record is pressed on thick vinyl & has A1/ B1 matrix stampers. This is a "Kinney" UK pressing which has a "Distributed by EMI" sticker on the front. Obviously EMI were utilising old Kinney pressings before manufacturing their own pressing.

Sleeve: There is a small 2 cm tear at one die-cut side of the window. There is some light rippling at the sleeve opening. Otherwise mild wear only. VG condition.

Vinyl: There are some light to mild sleeve rubs which can be seen under a strong light. NEAR EX condition. The labels are in very nice condition and show mild spindle wear. I have fully played this LP and it plays near excellent to excellent. There is some very light crackle in some quieter places. The inner sleeve has a mild 4" sea split at the bottom. There are no other seam splits or tears. It is in VG+ condition.

Grading adheres to “Record Collector” specifications. I shall use good quality packaging (proper vinyl mailers & two card dividers).
