Description

Up for sale is a highly collectible original 1971 US first pressing of L.A. Woman by The Doors.

    This copy features the iconic, original first-issue embossed outer sleeve with the die-cut cellophane window cutout and the multi-colored Elektra "Butterfly" center label.


Condition Details:

Vinyl (VG): The record retains a beautiful high gloss. Under direct light, there are a few faint, light surface hairline marks and minor paper scuffs, but no deep scratches. The center labels are exceptionally clean with no writing or severe spindle wear.

Jacket (VG): The unique die-cut jacket is in great structural shape. The clear cellophane window is fully intact. The embossed "DOORS" and "L.A. WOMAN" text elements are sharp and distinct. Expect minor, standard edge and corner wear from age as shown in the photos, but no major splits.
