Description
The Doors "Morrison Hotel"
This is a US vinyl Test Pressing on Elektra 75007 from 1970. It comes in a plain white cover with 'Roadhouse Blues' written at top right. The labels are by Pitman with 'Doors' written on side 1. The record looks like the previous owner was always stoned and played this at hundreds of parties.
Test pressings are the earliest pressing of an album. It is for the artists, producer, and other technical staff to approve the pressing quality. It is made before the cover and labels have been printed. Test pressing are always rare.
The matrix numbers are hand etched : Side 1 : EKS-75007 - A - 2 CP1. and Side 2 : EKS-75007 - B CP1.
The songs are : Roadhouse Blues, Waiting For The Sun, You Make Me Real, Peace Frog, Blue Sunday, Ship Of Fools, Land Ho, The Spy, Queen Of The Highway, Indian Summer, Maggie M'Gill. This has the same songs as my stock issue album.
Overall Condition is : Cover : VG+ / Record : G+
The plain white cover is VG+. There is light ring wear. The vinyl looks G+ and it plays VG-. There are light scuffs and scratches on all of the vinyl surface. It plays through with light static and many ticks, but no skips. It does play better than it looks. The labels are clean with lots of light spindle marks. The record comes in a plain white inner sleeve.

I now sell records at all Northwest record conventions : Portland, Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Eugene, Grants Pass, and Canby. And at Crossroads Music in Portland, Oregon. I sell 7" singles on Discogs as 'Fraglerecords'. My records are from a no smoking and no pets home. I am a record collector, no a DJ, so I almost never plays my records.

Packaging :
I take great care on every package and I do each one personally. I will package this record between two pieces of hand cut cardboard. Each piece is 1/2 inch thick, triple strength industrial cardboard. I always remove the record from the cover and seal them in a plastic sleeve. The package will be marked in red : 'Fragile Record' on both sides.
