THE DOORS: THE DOORS (EKL-4007)
Original, brown/gold Elektra label
Album in VG+ condition due to very light marks which can NOT be felt with fingernail. The LP plays fantastic but there is surface noise during quiet portions. If you want a super quiet version, this may not be the one for you but it has been my go-to copy for this album of this whenever I wanted to hear in all its glory. I'm only selling because I finally caved and spent several hundred on a NM copy. This is the best pressing of this album and is one of only two (2) or three (3) pressing runs from the original tapes. Many of you know this already from the (COL) marking but if not, now you do, and it sounds fantastic.

Cover is in strong VG+ due to some light wear. All seams are intact and spine is in EX condition. There is a small 1/2" black box (in black marker) on back cover (see photo) with some numerals/letters inscribed within that looks like it is some weird code (radio station?). There is a similar black box on the Side A label (see photo) of LP with similar etchings inside it. You're guess is as good as mine.
