Up for bid is this beautiful original 1967 US 1st pressing of the Doors self titled debut album on the Elektra Record label EKS-74007 and has NEVER BEEN PLAYED. I know for a fact that this LP has never been played because I bought this album sealed and opened it myself. When this LP is sealed there is no way of telling what pressing it is, so when I bought it I opened it and to my surprise and delight I realized I had an original 1967 1st pressing and emmediatly placed the vinyl into a MFSL anti static poly inner sleeve and have never played it.
The vinyl and labels obviously are in mint condition
The original Elektra inner sleeve is in great condition
The cover has tight factory shrinwrap with no rips, tears or splits other than being opened at the mouth. The bottom right corner has a slight bump to it and there are a couple of small areas at the mouth where there is slight damage which can be seen in the pictures, other than that the cover is in excellent condition with no bends, no creases, no ringwear, no cut outs, no drill holes, no saw cuts, and no barcodes. I'm sure that there are not a lot of these ORIGINAL 1967 US 1st PRESSINGS out there that have NEVER BEEN PLAYED, so don't pass up this mega rare opportunity to own this stunning unplayed LP.
