The Doors- The Doors- Elektra, EKL-4007
Condition:
Record: Good+ (G+): This record has some mild scuffing and scratching to it, but it plays through quite well, with no skips or sticks to speak of.

Cover: Very Good (VG): This cover has only light to very mild general shelf wear to it.
Notes: The Elektra inner sleeve with this copy has some mild splitting and tearing to it; Monarch pressing; initial misprint issue with the “‘BREAK ON THROUGH (To The Oher Side)’” misspelling on the label and the faulty “(Weill-Brecht) Witmark (ASCAP)” credit for ‘ALABAMA SONG (Whisky Bar)’; original first mono pressing.

This is an excellent album that deserves a spot in every record collection. This is also notably the rarer first pressing with the misspelling error and credit error on the label for Side One, and it’s the hard-to-find mono issue that has the uncensored Oedipal freak out in ‘The End’ where Jim Morrison says “fuck” repeatedly. This copy is in better shape than a lot of these are nowadays, even though it's not perfect. If you want a decent play copy of this desirable pressing of this iconic album, this would be a good copy to go for. Good luck!
