     Legendary for the sound, DCC Compact Classic lps pressed during the 1990's brought a new magical sound to heavy vinyl. The lp laquers for this label were cut by one the leading engineers of remastering sound - the one and only Steve Hoffman.  What Glyn Johns and others had done for big sound in the past was now being surpassed with an all vacuum tube cutting system which brought a whole new clarity and "womp" to some of the greatest rock albums ever recorded. 

LP:   NM.   Not even the slightest hint of a wispy mark.  Vinyl is perfect.   The wax has always been cleaned on a regular basis using my VPI 16.5 record vac with this stuff called the amazing Disc Doctor fluid. (see below).   

Cover:  Cover is NM with its original baggy wrap.   Just beautiful.   Inner sleeve is mint without any splits or tears.

       My system -  Just in case anyone is worried about what has been dragging across the surface of my vinyl - rest easy.  All play testing of vinyl is done on a VPI Classic Turntable and a Dynavector 17d3 cartridge.  This is a fairly expensive and high end set up.  The cartridge is unforgiving with sonic purity, and plays magnificent.  

        The rest of the system is mostly McIntosh components with a lot of tweaking with EAR, VPI, Seismic Sink, and other components.  An analog McIntosh Audio Control Center allows me to be extremely flexible with any format I want to use.  Took me 20 years to figure this out and finally get this half- way right.
