Description
Original 1967 US Elektra stereo pressing of Strange Days, catalog EKS 74014. Brown Elektra label with large white logo, correct first press layout, October 1967 credit on label. This is the real deal early run copy, not a later 70s butterfly label repress.
Strange Days is peak Doors, dark, theatrical, psychedelic Los Angeles in full bloom. Strange Days, People Are Strange, Love Me Two Times, When The Music’s Over. This record cemented Morrison as more than a frontman, it’s one of the defining albums of the late 60s counterculture era.
Vinyl: Strong VG, visually clean with light surface marks, no deep gouges. Should play solid with typical light vintage noise.
Jacket: VG minus. Heavy edge wear, fraying, corner damage, visible spine wear and splitting beginning along edges. Structurally intact but clearly well loved and original. No modern shrink, no rewrap.
Includes original Elektra inner sleeve shown.
