RECORD: Record has A few light marks. I will Goldmine this EXCELLENT. No "trail" marks by spindle hole. Test played EXCELLENT! The earliest pressing with "side one" and "side two" on left side of label.

 

COVER:Cover EXCELLENT w/ difficult to see ring wear. Edges, spine are beautiful.

Photos of the label can help determine the year of the pressing. It's always nice to have an original record (better value) that was "pressed" the very first year it hit the store shelves. It's also a nice plus to have an "original' inner sleeve. This also adds value. A must, is a description of how the record is rated ( "NM" Near Mint, VG+ " Very Good Plus", "VG" Very Good ) will help you to know how the record will sound when you play it. look up the "Goldmine" rating system. Records that are test played (seller listened to) is even better. Of course, You will want to know about sharp corners, edges / spine, split seams, writing, stains etc. All these bits of information will help you understand the value of the record you are purchasing and with your record collecting skills in general.
