There are no doubts that this copy of The Doors' 2nd studio album "Strange Days" released in October, 1967 is the true 1st Stereo pressing. According to the existing information the very early pressings of this album came not with the custom black and white inner sleeve containing a photo of the band on one side and the lyrics on the other, but with a gold / white Elektra Records logo inner sleeve. It doesn't take a lot of effort to be able to see the gold / white design elements of the inner sleeve through the intact shrink wrap at the mouth of the cover. The second characteristic of this copy confirming the album to be the true 1st pressing is the presence of a black oval sticker with "Stereo" text. I've never seen this sticker on a repressing, but only on the very early issues. Without any doubts this copy contains inside the 1st print gold with the large "E" Elektra Records logo label. The album is in great Mint condition. The shrink wrap with the original breathe holes is fully intact and only has some light shelf wear. Final upgrade copy.
